We know itís hard to be a parent of a child with special needs or learning differences.
ASHPAC is a small but strong group of parents working towards the understanding, respect, support and appropriate education for all children with special needs and/or disabilities in our community (including students on an IEP, 504 or receiving any services from the schools). Welcome to ASHPAC
ASHPAC would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone to join our organization. We work towards the understanding, respect, support and appropriate education for all children with special needs and/or disabilities in our community. As a volunteer organization we count on our members to share valuable knowledge, help keep information current, and increase the awareness of the activities and works of this group to the whole community.
If you are interested in joining the organization then please go to ashpac.wordpress.com or www.ashpac.org for further information and sign up for the newsletter/blog. If you have any questions then please don't hesitate to e-mail Mary-Ellen Kramer at maryEllenKramer@comcast.net or Elizabeth Souppa at email@example.com.
We hope you will become involved this year and share your gifts and talents to the benefit of our children. In addition to providing feedback from parents to the Ashland School administrators, ASHPAC offers workshops and speakers that educate on a broad range of topics relevant to all parents. ASHPAC also provides scholarships to graduating seniors, provides the Ashland Public Library with special education-related books and videos, and helps fund teacher requests for supplies and teaching materials.
